Prambanan Temple, also known as Candi Prambanan, is a 9th-century Hindu temple complex located on the island of Java, Indonesia. The temple was built during the reign of the Sanjaya dynasty in the ancient Mataram Kingdom. It is dedicated to the Trimurti, the expression of God as the Creator (Brahma), the Preserver (Vishnu) and the Destroyer (Shiva).
